IM/PASIBLES, a piece for three performers, takes as its inspiration the need for transformation in a society mired in apathy, violence, indifference, and tension. The piece proposes a powerful and poetic journey from individual confinement to the search for self-determination and connection with others.

 

In this setting, bodies are presented coexisting between their extremes and limits, using risk as a fundamental axis for the possibility of change.

 

The proposed movement follows in the wake of previous works, continuing a deep physical investigation with a blend of artistic influences from both directors and taking the search toward a developing personal universe. Words such as corporeality, limit, risk, sensitivity, and commitment are the foundations of their work as creators.

An highlight of  this new work is the continuity of the company's collaboration with musical composer Aire, with whom they began working on their first piece, IN-SIDE, in 2021. This last work pursues to achieve artistic development and a deeper understanding of their shared language, making sound space a fundamentally essential expressive element. Olga García is in charge of the lighting design, paving the way for a new collaboration that frames the space-time of the work. Costumes, set design, and dramaturgy are also incorporated from the ground up, and Beatriz de Paz joins the duo as a performer, forming a triad with new possibilities, contributing her energy and personal universe to the work.

 

In IM/PASIBLES, we long for a return to the present, to the senses, to vulnerability, and the risk that this entails in the apathetic, tense, and superficial routine in which we are currently immersed.
