FRAKTURE is a solo piece by Lucía Montes. In it, she questions her view of dance as an exchange between multiple dancers while simultaneously challenging the very concept of the solo. To do so, she revisits memories of a life fragmented across distant locations since birth, bringing to the stage experiences populated by the people who accompanied her. She embodies these experiences by exploring concepts of fracture and invisible touch, incorporating gesture into her choreographic inquiry.
